Meet Charlotte
DC Group Photos is led by Charlotte Richardson, alongside her three daughters. With over 30 years of experience, Charlotte has photographed thousands of students and dignitaries throughout the DMV area.
She is also the author of Fearless Photographer Portraits, where she teaches fellow photographers how to combine technical skill with people skills to create authentic, insightful portraits.
Beyond photography, Charlotte dedicates her time to rescuing animals in the twilight of their lives. She is pictured here with Thunder and Strawberry—her beloved 40-year-old Shetland ponies.
Her words to live by are “Be kind to yourself and others and whenever possible adopt.”
Meet Olivia
Olivia began her career in Washington, D.C. as a consultant and project manager for large-scale federal programs. Through this work, Olivia learned how to keep even the most complex projects running smoothly.
She now brings that same organization and attention to detail to DC Group Photos. Working alongside her mom, Olivia ensures every photo session is simple and stress-free from start to finish.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and backpacking, and values the importance of living a life connected to the outdoors.
